PAT assessments are formative, low-stakes assessments designed to support teaching and learning. NZCER Assist can generate a range of reports designed to help teachers, leaders and whānau get a sense of progress and achievement, surface strengths and next learning steps, and identify patterns and trends.
This workshop, led by Julie Roberts, explores the range of aggregate, progress over time and learner reports. Learn how to discover the story in your data, ways to effectively filter, and how to use this information to support teaching and learning, inquiry, and strategic decision making. Updated features in reports are shared during the session (new progress report, whānau reports and filters in adaptive mathematics).
Julie has two roles at NZCER, Kairangahau Mātua and Kaitohu Mātauranga. Julie is an experienced mathematics and assessment facilitator who has worked in a range of capacities delivering professional learning in schools and clusters.
